The easiest way to make a 3D figure move is to make a skeleton image that is controlled and manipulate by the animator on the computer using specially designed animation programs. Then the skeleton has the design of the figure drawn over the top.
Or another way to do it is make the figure out of modeling clay and using a special laser connected to the computer that scans the surface area one line at a time. The animator will scan every single line of the clay on to the computer.
